I was raised in Adelaide, South Australia. I’ve always had an interest in creative art, drawing for up to 5 hours a day as a boy. So when I left school I spent 6 years studying graphic design and then majored in illustration to turn my skills into a practical trade. I spent 16 years working with some of the top agencies in Australia, contributing to many award winning campaigns. During my time in BMF – Agency of the Decade, I studied at Award School Sydney. While doing the course I came up with the idea for my ebook. Since then my ebook has been used by hundreds of students and creatives around the world.
Education and training
My formal qualifications include a BA in Design – Illustration, Associate Diploma in Graphic Design, Award School, Business Studies, various advanced courses on Photoshop plus regular short courses in advertising during my time at award winning agency BMF Advertising. I continue to spend many hours a week honing my creative advertising skills with online research into new technologies and design trends.
